We have no setup charges for our Zimbra Business Hosting when purchased with an annual term. For our monthly terms, we charge activation/setup fees for each mailbox, Blackberry sync
(not for Blackberry POP only, which is free of additional charge), Zimbra Mobile and SOX
compliance license you order.
We charge activation fees instead of locking our clients into long-term contracts, or charging cancellation fees. That's right: we have no cancellation penalties, and our terms are month-to-month.
That means that if you decide to delete an account, or ten, you simply
stop getting charged for them the next month. While at first it may seem that
flexibility comes with a price: the activation fee, please also
remember that our first 30 days are free-of-charge, offsetting most if
not all of the setup charges.
If you choose month to month terms, please understand our activation fees include migration assistance that
is commonly required to help you move to our service, including IMAP
sync service, as may be required and requested. Our setup fees also pay
for our computer hardware upgrades to support additional systems
resources.
Our setup fees ensure that even though customers receive 30 days for free and without obligation to try our service, and we do
not require more than month-to-month terms, and we provide 24/7 live
support to all of your team (not just some of them), we will generate
enough revenue as people sign up to pay for the computer hardware
that's needed to support a continuing high quality of service. Thank
