No! This answer also addresses the question of "what's the difference between Cloud and Dedicated hosting?"
Cloud and Shared are used interchangeably. Shared just means you are sharing the same resources, such as:
- Servers
- Bandwidth
- Software
- Power
- Systems Administration
- Regular updates and upgrades

Businesses with from one person to thousands use our Shared hosting
services to affordably gain the benefits of the Zimbra Collaboration
Suite's Professional Edition. You benefit from Shared hosting by
leveraging our investment in the above resources, a turn-key-service at
an affordable, periodic price, as opposed to having to provide all the
above resources yourself, as you might if you maintained your server at
your own office, or at least in part as with...
Dedicated Hosting. "Dedicated" in this case means
we setup and maintain a dedicated server just for your company. This is an entire, physical computer dedicated only to your company. This in contrast to a Virtual server, where Zimbra and its supporting operating system is installed separately for each company, but all companies share the resources of one server computer. Given that we can support
hundreds, and even thousands of employees in the turn-key, low-cost cloud server environment, why do some organizations opt for Dedicated
Servers?
Even some very small companies sometimes opt for a dedicated server,
because of customization, compliance, policies, and other business
requirements, although it is typically companies with more than 50
employees, and usually more than 250 that opt for dedicated hosting. Conversely, we have many clients with hundreds of team members in the cloud hosting environment, as large as 500 team members or more.
While we have remote server maintenance plans that enable us to support
Zimbra (and other types of) servers securely over the internet,
companies benefit from our Dedicated servers because they exploit our
investment in the above resources, in addition to specialized services,
such as our having a fibre-channel infrastructure to enable the highest
speed data transfers for rapid data recovery and backup, or our ready,
spare servers.
